Emergency Services

The Town of Smithville is proud to be served by dedicated emergency personnel who work tirelessly to protect life, property, and public safety.  Our Police Department and Volunteer Fire Department are committed to rapid response community engagement, and professional service.  These services are prepared to preserve life and minimize damage, respond to hazards or disaster events by providing the necessary assistance and emergency support functions as well as establish a recovery system that will return the community to its normal state of affairs.

Throughout the year, the Town of Smithville EMS engage in community awareness and prevention programs to help the community avoid, detect, and report emergencies effectively.
